About Angelica
As a licensed science teacher, my goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop confidence and genuine curiosity about how the world works.
My teaching approach is interactive, student-centered, and personalized. I explain concepts using simple language, real-life examples, diagrams, and guided practice to ensure students truly understand the topic instead of simply memorizing information. I encourage questions and create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning from mistakes.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous concepts or an assessment of what the student already knows. We then explore new topics step by step, work through examples together, and finish with practice questions and a summary of the key ideas. I also provide study tips and problem-solving strategies that students can use independently.
I believe every student can succeed in science with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. I strive to make each lesson engaging, practical, and enjoyable, helping students become independent learners rather than relying solely on memorization.
I offer lessons in General Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science for middle school, junior high school, senior high school, and introductory college students. Whether you're preparing for an exam, catching up on classwork, improving your grades, or simply wanting to understand science better, I'll work with you to achieve your goals at your own pace.
