About Rosemarie Joy
I am a dedicated and patient English tutor who focuses on helping students build confidence and improve their communication skills in a comfortable and supportive learning environment. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods based on each learner’s level, goals, and pace.
My teaching approach combines structured learning with interactive practice. I explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence construction in a simple and clear way, then guide students through speaking activities, discussions, and practical exercises to help them use English naturally and confidently. *Interactive activities such as roleplays, discussions, question-and-answer exercises, and free talk
*Error correction with encouragement so students can improve naturally without feeling pressured
*Personalized lessons based on the student’s goals, learning pace, and interests
I also encourage students to practice using English in real-life situations rather than only memorizing rules.
A usual lesson may include:
*Warm-up conversation – short free talk or review of previous lessons
*Introduction to the topic – grammar point, vocabulary set, pronunciation practice, or speaking theme
*Guided practice – exercises, sentence construction, reading, or listening activities
*Speaking practice – discussion, roleplay, or answering questions using the target language
*Feedback and correction – improving mistakes and giving tips for better fluency and accuracy
*Homework or practice suggestions – optional exercises or vocabulary review
I always try to keep lessons engaging, balanced, and comfortable for the student.
