I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in psychology from the Ohio State University. Currently I am applying to be a resident educator through the Ohio Board of Education to get my teaching license in life sciences with the goal of becoming a high school biology teacher.

I base my classes on high school level life science courses that will also be applicable to college life science courses as well. My lessons are structured mostly around discussion and detailed real world examples that students can understand and relate to. I want students to feel comfortable acknowledging when they do not feel like they have 100% mastered a topic, so that I can restructure material in a way that they can relate to and easily remember.
