About Aaliya

I am trained dancer in Belly Dance, Kathak, Ballet and Whacking. I have prior online dance teaching experience. I strive to share my knowledge and the art form to as many people as I can and help them dance freely!

About the lesson

My method of teaching is basic yet effective. I like taking the teaching process slow. I start with warm up and stretches, which are an essential for any dance form. Then I teach the techniques first, followed by movements and application, and then finally implenting the movements on music.

She started with yoga, stretching and dancing techniques and then I started to use those techniques to choreograph. Online dancing class wasn't my thing as I need a lot of attention but I wanted to give it a try and I'm glad I found the right person. She gives detailed instructions, dances with me and help me improve by pointing out where I went wrong.
