About Okoye
As a linguistics graduate and passionate teacher, I strive to create a welcoming and engaging space for learning Igbo. I believe language is best acquired through immersion and relatability, so I incorporate humor and real-life examples to make lessons enjoyable and easier to grasp. By understanding each student’s unique learning pace, I adapt my methods to support their growth without added pressure.
My teaching approach goes beyond the conventional, as I aim to be not just a teacher but also a source of encouragement—whether as a mentor, a confidant, or a supportive presence. This nurturing style helps students feel at ease, building their confidence and fostering a well-rounded learning experience.
