I am a literature and music theater student at Columbia College Chicago, with two years of experience teaching written and verbal English to children in elementary, middle, and high school. I have also worked as a corporate interpreter and translator for three years.

My teaching method is based on the individuality of each student. We all learn in different ways, and I believe that the most productive way of teaching is adapting to each persons preferred method and using those personal characteristics to facilitate learning. For example, with a student who’s a visual learner I use examples from movies, theater, or small YouTube videos (skits, debates, news broadcasts, etc). With a student who learns through actions I use a more active approach with examples, games and activities between students or between student and teacher.
