About Jo
Hi, My name is Jo. I'm a writer and teacher from Norwich. Just having graduated from the Literature with Creative Writing course at UEA, I am a professional writer, currently based in Norwich. I specialise in prose (stories), but would jump at the chance to teach poetry, script, or even songwriting (I'm also a musician). I also have 3 years of professional experience teaching; both in schools and private settings, which has built a huge passion for education that I intend to follow into a fulfilling career as a professional teacher.

Are you a budding writer who wants to make sure you don't pick up any bad habits? Great! I have some fantastic writing exercises to help you get started writing your first short stories/scripts/poems! Or are you experienced, but want to workshop, proofread and edit your work? Either way, this is the place for you! After 10 years of academic experience, being taught by some of the best writing teachers in the country, I want to make the skills I learnt widely known and as accessible as possible. I could never afford writing courses or workshops, so I try really hard to make sure these classes are affordable. If you're having trouble with my rates, just let me know and we can sort something out!!
