About Miranda
I love teaching and creating and I am sure you will love learning to knit with me, you will immediately be able to do exciting projects and once you have started it can be difficult to stop! I learned to sew at the age of 5 and to knit at the age of 6. I studied art throughout school until I was 18 and since then I have continued to weave and make multiple jumpers, countless pairs of socks, hats, scarves, gloves and plus. I am a qualified teacher and I have experience teaching adults and children in groups and individually.

My absolute beginner approach is to help you understand how fabric is formed and how loops connect to each other to form fabric. You'll start by knitting your fingers, and then progress through the casting before learning how to knit stitch and purr stitch. Finally I can teach you how to make your own clothes like hats, socks, jumpers, and toys and furniture and how to follow knitting patterns.
