About DR RAVI
Dr. R. Ravi Kumar is been associated with the Department of Sociology since 2007. Working as Assistant Professor in Nizam College (Osmania University). Teaches for both Under Graduate (B.A.) and Post Graduate (M.A.) students.
I had obtained my B.A. from (Nizam College) 2002
I had obtained my M.A. from (University of Hyderabad) 2005
I had completed my Ph.D. from (Osmania University) 2012.
Working as Head, Department of Sociology. Nizam College since 23-10-2021.
Worked as Coordinator for "Foreign Students Affairs" in Nizam College from 13-08-2018 till 2020.
I am also a Course coordinator for a Diploma course in “Criminology and Correctional Administration”.
I am also a life member of Andhra Pradesh Sociological Society (APSS).
More specifically, my areas of specialization of teaching and research interests cover Sociology of Education, Industrial Sociology, Development Studies, Criminology, Social Anthropology, Social Demography, PRA, & Sociology of Development and Planning.
I had actively participating and contributed several papers in International, National Journals and Seminars (Total 50 Papers).
