About Chloe

I have experience teaching beginner to intermediate players as well as working with elementary aged children. Trumpet is my main instrument, but am proficient in violin and piano.

I specialize in teaching unique physical and mental limitations such as overbites/underbites/tongue ties/speech impediments and ADHD/Autism. I have a lisp, a tongue tie, and an overbite so learning to adapt your playing to fit your needs can be difficult, but I have learned strategies to overcome these obstacles!

I have taken education and instrumental methods class at my university that give me a variety of resources and strategies to overcome obstacles. I currently give lessons in person, but can give them online as well!

About the lesson

The lessons will be student lead and issues will be approached in many different ways to suit the student. I have a variety of exercises and drills that I can share with you in order to aid in the cost.

Lessons will start with discussing the problems that a student wants to focus on and playing pieces they encounter in band/solos. From there, depending on the issue, I can give them drills or focus on strategies to overcome the obstacle.
