About Sophia
Outside of tutoring, I’m a caring, approachable, and positive person who genuinely enjoys helping children grow in confidence. I understand that every child learns differently, so I always aim to be patient, supportive, and encouraging in my approach.
I enjoy creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where children feel comfortable and motivated to learn. Seeing students become more confident in themselves and proud of their progress is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, learning new skills, and finding creative ways to make learning engaging and enjoyable for young learners.

Hi, I’m a friendly and patient primary maths tutor passionate about helping children build confidence and enjoy learning maths. I work with pupils of all abilities, supporting them with everything from basic number skills to preparing for SATs and improving problem-solving techniques.
My lessons are tailored to each child’s individual learning style, using clear explanations, engaging activities, and plenty of encouragement to help them feel comfortable and motivated. I believe every child can succeed in maths with the right support and positive approach.
I aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment where children feel confident asking questions and celebrating their progress. Whether your child needs extra support, help catching up, or wants to build stronger maths skills, I’m here to help them reach their full potential.
