About Katie
I have been singing my entire life and I started taking lessons at the age of 8. In addition to taking private voice lessons regularly, I also have been performing since the age of two and I have great knowledge of musical theatre songs that I have loved working on. I have also participated in choir for 8 years up until graduating high school. I performed in choirs at the regional and state level for 5 years. In addition to singing I also have vast music theory knowledge from taking the AP course and love to implement that into my voice training.

My lessons are not a “one-size-fits-all” and I truly cater to the individual student’s needs and goals. We will work on technical aspects of the voice as well as branch out and learn various songs to add to your repertoire. I specialize in musical theatre but I also have trained in pop/rock styles. If a student wishes to perform their piece and accompany themselves, I would be willing to coach them on their accompaniment skills as well. I strive to create a safe yet brave space for every musical artist and I look forward to potentially growing and learning with you!
