My tutoring approach is learner-centered, focusing on understanding how a student thinks rather than just what they know. I emphasize clarity, engagement, and critical thinking, using a blend of techniques:

Diagnostic questioning: I start by assessing the learner’s current understanding, misconceptions, and learning style.

Socratic method: I guide through questioning rather than direct lecturing, helping students discover answers logically and confidently.

Scaffolded learning: I break complex topics into manageable steps, gradually reducing support as the learner gains mastery.

Active learning: I include problem-solving, real-world applications, and discussions instead of passive memorization.

2. Typical Lesson Plan

A standard session follows a flexible but structured flow:

Warm-up & Review (5–10 min):
Recap of previous material or a short quiz/problem to assess retention.

Concept Introduction (10–15 min):
Explain the new topic using examples, visuals, or analogies that fit the learner’s background.

Guided Practice (20–30 min):
