About Rowena
I'm just new here so I haven't any experience here yet. However, I've been giving specia lessons to my Filipino & Thai students for years already. One on one or by group (at most 5 students) for special classes. I was able to let my Filipino students graduate with honors & in fact most of them are professionals now. I was able to let some of my Thai students passed their application to other countries after they have learnt English language from me. I was used to be a trainer of some contests such as speech, short skit & story telling.

I'm a Filipino teacher who used to teach Science, Maths & English in the Philippines, both primary & high school students for 7 years & another 7 years teaching English in Thailand for Grades 10-12. I'm a teacher who uses heart in teaching because I believe that students will learn more when you teach not just purely mental but emotional as well. They will learn more if they'll use their heart in learning. I also believe that learning is fun so I make it sure that my students are having fun while they are learning with me. With regards to methodology, I usually let the students learn by doing some acticvities/exercises and the use of discovery approach. The students will appreciate it because they will learn by discovering what is/are needed to be learnt. Examples & exercises are always to be given to them to practice/enhance what they are learning & to fully understand it. My accent might be different as of now as I'm new in this beautiful country of yours, but eventually I will be able to adapt to it as soon as I'm going to practice it with my students & my colleagues.
