To be effective, I adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of my students. I use a variety of teaching resources such as booklets, recorded lessons, videos and interactive graphs. I also encourage my students to actively participate through discussions about current affairs that are relevant to the topic being studied, this makes the topic memorable and provides you with examples to use in your exam. I will also set homework that enables and challenges you to achieve your goals; success is the best motivator!

Perfect! Claire has been the perfect tutor for my daughter: super-knowledgeable, supportive, reliable and empathetic. Lily is going into A/S levels now with a transformational amount of confidence and knowledge compared to what she would have had just with her school-based learning.
Perfect! Clare was fantastic in helping my son get an A in his A Level Economics. She was great on exam technique and teaching through use of current and relevant examples. I would not hesitate to recommend Clare to anyone looking for support in their studies. Thank you Clare!
Perfect! Despite my son only having had Claire as a tutor for a short time she has helped him tremendously and he looks forward to every session with her. He is midway through his A level economics and Claire's support, patience and knowledge keeps him interested and is giving him confidence . He says she is great ! Thank you Claire ...
Perfect! My son is taking his A Levels this year and Claire was very meticulous in understanding the areas were he needs to specifically work to achieve the results we are aming for
