About Jiya Sharma
I am a trained elementary educator with a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in English. I have two years of teaching experience across different school settings, which has helped me understand and adapt to different learning styles and needs.
I specialize in working with young learners, with a particular strength in Environmental Studies, storytelling, and building a strong, comfortable bond with students. I believe learning should go beyond textbooks—I focus on developing real-life skills such as communication, confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to express ideas clearly.
I am available for online classes, home tuition, or students can also learn at my place. My goal is to create a learning environment where children genuinely understand what they are learning, enjoy the process, and develop skills that stay with them beyond the classroom.

My classes are designed to be interactive, engaging, and centered around the child. I use storytelling, activities, hands-on learning, discussions, and real-life examples to make concepts easier to understand and remember. Rather than being just an instructor, I see myself as a facilitator who guides students to think, explore, question, and discover.
I also place a strong emphasis on building a warm and trusting relationship with my students. I want every child to feel comfortable asking questions. Even the ones they may think are “silly”, without fear of judgment. My goal is to create a space where children not only learn better, but also become more curious, confident, and willing to express themselves.
