About Madeeha
I’m Madeeha Islam. I attend Wallington High School for Girls Sixth Form. I’m an academically vigorous student who received all 8s and 9s in her GCSE and is currently studying biology, chemistry, and sociology. I love working with children of all ages and helping them flourish.

I always like to begin my lessons with a ‘do now’ activity to ease ourselves into the flow of the lesson. For example, for my 11+ students, I will do a mini test on comprehension techniques. Then, I will go onto the main body of the lesson, whether that be practising exam technique, understanding the text, or structuring top-grade answers. I have a plethora of model answers that I could share. After the lesson is over, I love to set short pieces of homework to consolidate our learning from the lesson and prepare them for the next lessons. For example, for my GCSE students, I will set a past paper and I will mark it when they are done.
