About Yimiao
I have a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, TCSOL Certificated, and I worked as a TA for a Chinese programme during my university. I helping foreign students to learn Chinese in an easy and efficient way. I have rich teaching experience, good at correcting pronunciation and fluent in English.
Learning a language is not only as a tool, but also a cultural exchange. In my classes, I will have an open and tolerant mind to deal with cultural differences, interspersed with Chinese and Western cultural comparisons, and explain the cultural differences that students are interested in, so as to achieve the purpose of learning by doing.

I am good at providing targeted practice and tutoring to students who already have a basic knowledge of Chinese (beginner-intermediate level), such as individual correction of pronunciation, simulation of situational dialogues, and practice of a certain sentence structure, to help students better communicate with Chinese people.
Communicate with students before the start of the course to understand their level and learning goals (Daily Conversation, Business Chinese, HSK), provide corresponding teaching materials, and customised stage-by-stage learning plans for different learners.
