About Shivani
Hi, I'm Shivani — a Math teacher with an MSc and B.Ed in Mathematics and 4+ years of teaching experience across both school and private settings.
I started tutoring because I've seen too many students give up on Math simply because it wasn't explained to them the right way. That bothered me — because I know how capable every student is when they have the right support.
Teaching isn't just a profession for me, it's something I genuinely enjoy. There's nothing more satisfying than watching a student go from "I can't do this" to "I actually get it now."
I bring patience, clarity, and a lot of encouragement to every session — and I make sure each student feels seen, not just taught.

Math doesn't have to be hard — it just needs to be taught well. That's something I truly believe, and 4+ years of teaching has only strengthened that conviction.
I hold an MSc and B.Ed in Mathematics, with experience teaching both in school and through private one-on-one sessions. This has helped me understand that every student learns differently — and I adapt accordingly.
How my classes work
Each session starts with understanding where you are and what needs attention. We then work through concepts step by step — no rushing, no skipping foundations. I make sure you understand the why, not just the how.
Practice problems are a key part of every session, because real confidence in Math comes from doing, not just listening.
What makes me different
I focus on conceptual clarity over rote memorization. I'm patient, approachable, and create a space where you never feel judged for asking questions — even the same one twice.
