About Jia Thong
Hi I am Lim. I am a Chinese Malaysian and Chinese is my mother tongue. As a Malaysian, English is my second language so I can teach Chinese using English.
I have studied in Taiwan for 5 years, I learned about their culture, so I can not only teach about the grammar and vocabulary, I can also teach how to speak in Chinese context.
My experience of learning Malay and English let me understand the difficulty of learning language. It helps me to put myself in your shoes while I am teaching.
Lastly, I am very patient while teaching but also can be a strict tutor. So please do not hesitate to let me know your needs.

I will make suitable study plans for students of different levels.
For completely novice students, I will start with the most basic Hanyu Pinyin lessons and simple vocabulary.
For intermediate students, I will focus on speaking and listening so that they can practice how to communicate in Chinese.
For advanced students, we can start to read some classic Chinese literature to learn the Chinese culture.
For students who learn Chinese for business purpose, I will help to introduce yourself in Chinese and teach those business terms.
