About Marijke
I hold a degree in Management and have been teaching English online to students from around the world for more than three years.
Before becoming an online English teacher, I worked in business management, which gave me valuable experience in communication, leadership and professional English. I also did a degree in Interior Design, and am also a mum, and avid traveller.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing students gain confidence and realise they are capable of much more than they thought.
Whether you need help with school English, exam preparation, conversation practice, writing skills or professional communication, I will create lessons that are practical, supportive and focused on helping you make real progress.

My lessons are personalised, practical and focused on helping students achieve their individual goals. I adapt my teaching approach to suit each learner's needs, strengths and learning style.
With over three years of experience teaching English online to students from around the world, I have worked with learners of different ages, backgrounds and proficiency levels. My lessons focus on building confidence, improving communication skills and developing a strong understanding of English in real-life situations.
I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans and can provide explanations and support in either language when needed. I speak Spanish and German on B1 level.
