Hi, I’m Shela
Mandarin tutor with Taiwan study & internship experience, but more importantly, I help you actually use the language, not just stare at it.
I keep my lessons structured, clear, and straight to the point. No chaotic teaching, no random materials. You’ll know what you’re learning, why you’re learning it, and how to use it in real life. I give real feedback, real corrections, and real support, so you actually improve.
I’m patient, detail-oriented, and big on creating a safe space. You can mess up, laugh about it, fix it, and try again. That’s how confidence is built.

My lessons are conversation-based and super practical. We learn useful vocabulary and sentence patterns, then immediately use them in real-life scenarios like daily chats, self-introductions, ordering food, or casual conversations. A typical class starts with a light warm-up, pronunciation practice, new expressions, and then guided speaking so you can build confidence step by step.
What makes my class different? I create a safe and supportive space where you don’t have to be scared of making mistakes. With my international and hospitality background, I’ll help you sound more natural and confident, not robotic.
