About Lulu
Hey, my name is Lulu Li, and I am so excited to teach the language that holds so much meaning to me. I was raised in a Chinese-speaking family, which has provided me with a strong foundation in the language from an early age. I achieved HSK Level 4 certification during my primary school years and I am eager to share my knowledge and help others improve their Mandarin skills, whether they're beginners or looking to refine their fluency. As a student myself, who is currently in their last year of an undergraduate degree, I understand the expectations and struggles that come with balancing learning, motivation, and personal goals. This perspective allows me to approach teaching with patience, empathy, and adaptability, ensuring that the student/s feels supported and confident throughout their learning journey.

I believe that everyone learns at their own pace, and one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned throughout my own education is that patience is truly a virtue. Because I attended Mandarin classes from a very young age, I’ve not only built a strong language foundation but also picked up efficient and effective learning strategies that I now apply in my teaching. These methods have supported me tremendously, and I’m confident they can do the same for you. Another key part of mastering a new language is consistent practice—when you keep speaking, listening, and engaging with Mandarin, it eventually becomes second nature, almost like muscle memory. In my lessons, I focus on creating a comfortable and encouraging environment where you can practice freely, build confidence, and make steady progress without feeling rushed or overwhelmed
