About Shan
Hi! I’m a friendly and patient native Mandarin and Cantonese speaker based in Toronto. I enjoy communicating with people and especially enjoy spending time with children. I’m passionate about helping children and beginners learn Mandarin in a relaxed, fun, and comfortable environment. I believe everyone learns differently, so I’m happy to adjust my teaching style and pace according to each student’s needs. Whether your child is completely new to Mandarin or wants to become more confident speaking, I’m happy to help make learning Mandarin enjoyable and encouraging.

My Mandarin lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to each student’s level and goals.
I teach Mandarin to children and beginners, focusing on pronunciation, everyday conversation, vocabulary, reading, and basic writing.
For children, I use simple conversations, pictures, stories, and fun activities to keep lessons engaging.
For beginners, I teach step by step and make sure students feel comfortable speaking Mandarin.
Lessons are available online, and I can adjust the pace and content according to each student’s needs.
