About JR
I am a native Chinese speaker originally from Malaysia, now based and working in London. Outside of my day job, I choose to teach Mandarin because I am truly passionate about sharing the richness, depth, and beauty of Chinese language and culture. Teaching gives me a rewarding way to step outside my daily routine, pass on authentic linguistic nuances, and build genuine, meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.
