About Mark

Experienced secondary science teacher at schools and colleges specialising in A-level physics and GCSE science. I have a first class degree and PhD in Physics. I have a PGCE and am fully DBS certified. I am the current head of physics at an outstanding secondary school. I am also a former lecturer at Durham University with experience teaching students of every level. I offer well structured lessons, broken down into understandable sections with clear examples. I am excellent at explaining the skills and keywords students require to succeed. I have a first rate exam track record with students and tutees of achieving high grades and rapid improvement.

About the lesson

I am an experienced online A-level physics and GCSE science tutor. I offer bespoke lessons tailored to the needs and pace of the student. I am friendly, patient and experienced teaching neurodiverse students. I offer visually interesting, clear interactive slides with questions and answers. As well as exam questions and slides as homework afterwards. I focus on key skills and terminology tailored to the exam to maximise success.

Perfect! As a current science teacher Mark has hands on experience with a full grasp of the curriculum. My son is key stage 3 and he is always keen to show me what he has learnt. My daughter sat Alevels and passed them with his support, getting into her chosen Uni!
