About Martaisha
Hey Students! I’m a creative artist and educator who loves helping students turn their ideas into art. I specialize in drawing, digital illustration, character design, graphic design, comic creation, visual storytelling, and creative software such as Procreate, Canva, and Photoshop. My goal is to make every lesson comfortable, engaging, and easy to understand—whether you’re completely new to art or looking to take your skills to the next level.
I believe every student has a unique creative voice. Instead of simply showing you what to draw, I help you understand the techniques behind great artwork so you can become more confident and independent as an artist. We’ll work at your pace, practice real techniques, and use your interests to make learning more enjoyable.
Whether you want to improve your drawing skills, create your own characters and comics, learn digital art, develop a portfolio, or explore a future career in art and design, I’m here to help you build the skills and confidence to bring your ideas to life.

My approach to tutoring is creative, patient, and hands-on. I teach drawing, illustration, character design, 2D art, digital art, graphic design, visual storytelling, comic creation, portfolio development, and having been branching into creative software including Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, and Blender. I break complex topics into simple, understandable steps and use real-world examples, visual demonstrations, practice exercises, and personalized feedback to help students learn with confidence.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing the student’s goals and previous knowledge, followed by an explanation or demonstration, guided practice, independent work, and a short review. What sets me apart is my ability to make learning engaging and relatable while adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs. I offer lessons for beginners, high school and college students, and anyone looking to strengthen their skills in art, illustration, design, creative software, and visual storytelling.
