About Maryam
Hi I am Maryam! I teach math to a wide range of students, including those who feel stuck, bored, or scared of it. When I was younger, I did not like math either, until I realized that when you think outside the box and understand the idea behind each step, it becomes clear, logical, and even fun. That experience is exactly why I am passionate about helping students change the way they see math. Credentials • Current MASc student in Structural Engineering • Bachelor of Civil Engineering, York University • 5+ years of experience teaching and tutoring math (elementary, high school, and university) • 3 years of experience at Mathnasium as Lead Instructor
