About Samantha
After 7 years in the Semiconductor Reserach field I'm taking a break.
Tutoring has always been a hobby of mine, starting in 8th grade when I volunteered to tutor 6th graders after school, my entire highschooler tutoring math starting freshman year through senior year. In college tutoring was my full time job and I also volunteered in the Math & Chemistry departments. I've TA'd and taught classes. After college I spent a year teaching mixed mathmatics and all the sciences at a small private school, before returning to graduate school for Semiconductor Physics.
I've tutored on and off for friends of family while in the Semiconductor field and would love to meet with you and continue one of my favorite activities - tutoring, teaching & learning together.

My focus is in grounding the work in real life & reinforcing that the questions asked SHOULD be hard, and it is the process of solving the question and not the answer that will lead to success.
I typically introduce myself and learn more about what you are studying and what you are struggling with, then try and illustrate the topic in your 'frame of reference'
I can talk at the Math 95/Algebra level, Trigonometry, Statists, Vector Mathematics, Calculus from derivatives to multi-variable.
I have a masters degree in physics with experience in Astronomy, E&M, Kinetics, Quantum Mechanics, really any subject you might find in a Physics textbook from Kindergarten to Graduate School.
I have 7 years experience in coding C#, Python, Wolfram Mathematica, R
I've taught Chemistry at the high school & college level
