About Terry
Programming is rarely about the code itself, but rather the spatial logic that code can represent. I assign a hands-on mini project after every class to ensure you apply new syntax within a relevant architectural context. These exercises reinforce the bridge between theory and practice through consistent iteration.
You will find that my 13 years of experience allow me to simplify even the most daunting data structures for your specific project needs. Homework help and technical deep dives are handled with the same level of precision and exactitude.
The objective is to produce code that serves your design intent rather than restricting your creative output. We examine your ongoing work to verify that the implementation of APIs or scripts aligns with your vision. Algorithms, APIs, and Python are the tools I utilise to bridge complex engineering and architectural design. My practice leans heavily on 13 years of experience to guide students through the intricacies of data structures and version control using Git. Students from the AA, Bartlett, and Manchester School of Architecture seek my guidance to integrate computation into their existing design workflows.
This technical rigour is matched by my dedication to debugging techniques that turn errors into learning opportunities. JavaScript integration and backend basics are also core components of my teaching methodology for various learners.
I frequently support working professionals and advanced learners who need to navigate sophisticated programming tasks. My own academic background from the AA and Imperial provides the architectural context necessary for these computational pursuits.
