About Eve
My teaching approach in mathematics is gentle, reflective, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding. I specialize in areas such as abstract algebra, number theory, mathematical proofs, topology, and other advanced theoretical concepts. These topics can seem abstract at first, but breaking them into clear, intuitive steps makes them much more approachable. I encourage students to think deeply about ideas rather than just memorizing procedures. This approach helps build a solid foundation for tackling complex problems. Lessons include visual explanations, real-world examples, and careful reasoning to make abstract ideas more tangible. I enjoy working with DIY learners and researchers, guiding them to develop their own unique methods for understanding difficult theorems. This encourages independence and creativity in their mathematical thinking. I believe each learner has a distinct path to mastering concepts, and I help them discover it.
