About Lani
My teaching methodology for Chess is built on a practical, feedback-oriented approach that helps students understand the game through real-life examples and case studies. I use well-known matches, classic strategies, and real tournament situations to show how concepts apply in actual play. This makes learning more relatable and helps students develop a deeper understanding of tactics, positional play, and strategic thinking.
I provide consistent guidance, clear explanations, and regular, constructive feedback so students can track their progress and refine their skills. Each lesson is tailored to individual needs, whether the student is focusing on openings, mastering middlegame plans, or strengthening endgame technique. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every learner feels comfortable improving at their own pace.
Beyond Chess, I also teach related subjects such as strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills. These abilities not only enhance a student’s overall Chess performance but also support learning in academic and real-life situations. My methodology ensures students grow as players and thinkers.

I am a dedicated Chess tutor with 7 years of experience guiding students of all levels, having successfully taught between 200–250 learners. My goal is to help every student build confidence, sharpen their thinking, and enjoy the depth of the game.
My teaching approach is structured yet flexible, focusing on fundamentals, openings, middlegames, and endgames. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and real-game scenarios to help students understand strategies deeply and apply them with confidence.
I bring unique strengths in strategic planning, problem-solving, and personalized coaching. By adapting lessons to each student’s pace and style, I ensure steady progress and meaningful improvement, whether the goal is casual play or competitive success.
