About Maya
My teaching approach in Chess is built on creativity and clear understanding. I introduce ideas in simple steps and use creative methods to explain strategies, patterns, and decision-making. This helps students think independently and enjoy the learning process instead of just memorizing moves.
I adjust every lesson based on the student’s level, pace, and goals. I also use real-life examples and case studies from famous matches, so students can see how concepts are applied in actual games. This makes lessons practical, engaging, and easier to remember.
I listen to each student’s challenges and support them with patience and encouragement. My aim is to build confidence, improve critical thinking, and help students stay motivated. Along with Chess, I also teach related subjects, offering a complete and helpful learning experience for every student.

With over 7 years of experience teaching Chess, I have helped many college students strengthen their understanding of the game and build real confidence on the board. I focus on making chess easy to understand by breaking down every concept into simple parts, so students can learn step by step without feeling stressed or confused.
My teaching style is interactive, creative, and flexible. I use innovative methods like guided game analysis, real match case studies, and digital tools that help students see patterns clearly. I also encourage students to share their ideas so they can develop strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making skills in a supportive environment.
I believe great learning comes from patience, empathy, and clear guidance. I listen closely to each student's needs and adjust lessons to match their learning pace. Whether a student wants to improve fundamentals or refine advanced strategies, I am committed to helping them grow, stay motivated, and enjoy every stage of their chess journey.
