About Dave

I am a Los Angeles-based writer, director, and essayist, as well as a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. I’ve written a play produced at the acclaimed Renberg Theatre in Los Angeles. and directed several productions. As a documentary filmmaker, actor, and social activist, I bring a unique perspective to storytelling, both on and off the stage. My passion for creativity and helping others discover their voice drives my work as a tutor, offering a supportive, engaging environment for students of all backgrounds. My hobbies include rock climbing, chess, and ice skating.

About the lesson

As a Middlebury English grad with extensive experience in both writing and teaching, I know how to help students develop their voice while maintaining clarity and technical excellence. My lessons emphasize storytelling through powerful, engaging language, allowing students to not only improve their writing skills but also explore new creative avenues.
