About Katlene Louie

Hello! My name is Katlene Louie, and I am a professional Foreign English Teacher with approximately 3 and a half years of ESL teaching experience. I am currently teaching students from Turkey, Germany, Poland, and China. I specialize in making language learning smooth, encouraging, and highly effective for students of all levels.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully helped a diverse range of learners build genuine confidence, perfect their pronunciation, and master academic reading and writing for school essays. My approach is deeply patient, structured, and entirely tailored to your personal goals.

About the lesson

Hi there! I’m Katlene Louie, and I’m so glad you’re here. As a Foreign English Teacher, my main goal is to make language learning feel natural, smooth, and genuinely encouraging for every student I work with.

I don’t believe in strict, stressful classrooms or just memorizing long lists of grammar rules. Instead, I focus on building your actual confidence. I use an interactive, conversational approach where making mistakes is completely okay—in fact, it’s how we learn! We will use real-life examples, engaging activities, and practical conversations so you can start using what you learn right away.

Every session is tailored to what you need that day, but we generally follow a comfortable rhythm:

Warm-up: A quick, friendly chat to get you comfortable speaking in English.

The Main Focus: A structured but interactive breakdown of our topic for the day (like a specific grammar point, pronunciation practice, English literature, or an essay outline).

Putting it into action through speaking exercises, reading comprehension, or writing feedback.

A quick review of your wins for the day and clear, gentle feedback on what to practice next.
