My Approach as an English Tutor
Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach is student-centered, patient, and engaging. I believe that every learner has a different pace and learning style, so I adjust my lessons according to the student’s needs and goals. I use simple explanations, practical examples, guided exercises, discussions, and interactive activities to make English easier to understand and apply.
I focus on building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, listening, and speaking. I also encourage students to ask questions and practice without being afraid of making mistakes because mistakes are an important part of learning.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short review of the previous topic, followed by an introduction to the new lesson. I explain the topic using easy-to-understand examples and then provide guided exercises to check the student’s understanding.
Afterward, we practice through activities such as reading passages, sentence construction, conversations, vocabulary exercises, or writing tasks. At the end of the lesson, I review the key points, provide feedback, and give a short practice activity or assignment when appropriate.
