About Lyra

My teaching methodology is designed to create an engaging and effective learning experience for each student. I believe in being flexible, adapting to each student’s individual learning style, and creating lessons that fit their needs. Whether it’s improving writing skills, analyzing literature, or preparing for exams, I tailor my approach to help students succeed. I focus on problem-solving by encouraging students to think critically and find solutions to challenges they may face in English and related subjects. I provide a variety of strategies and tools to help them approach tasks confidently and independently. Cultural sensitivity is key to my teaching, as I respect and understand the diverse backgrounds of my students. I incorporate global perspectives into lessons, making learning more inclusive and relatable. Accountability plays an important role in my teaching. I guide students in setting clear goals and take active steps toward achieving them, offering continuous feedback to help them stay on track and motivated. Overall, my aim is to foster a supportive, flexible environment where students can grow, improve, and succeed in English and beyond.

With over 6 years of experience, I specialize in helping college students excel in English. My teaching approach is focused on making lessons engaging and easy to understand. I believe in fostering a supportive and interactive learning environment, where students feel confident to express themselves and improve their skills.

I use a variety of innovative methods, such as interactive discussions, multimedia resources, and real-world examples to make learning relevant and fun. I focus on developing both written and spoken English through exercises that build vocabulary, improve grammar, and enhance communication skills.

My students benefit from personalized lessons tailored to their unique needs and goals, whether they’re working on essays, resumes, or literature analysis. I emphasize critical thinking, helping students understand texts in-depth and express their ideas clearly.
