About JOHN
Hello! I'm John Lloyd B. Garganera, and I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills with confidence. I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning strategies.
My lessons are personalized to match each student's goals, learning style, and proficiency level. Learning English should be engaging, practical, and confidence-building. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace.
My teaching approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner's needs. I begin by assessing the student's current level, learning goals, and areas for improvement. Based on this, I prepare lessons that combine grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and listening exercises. I use real-life examples, interactive discussions, guided practice, and constructive feedback to help students apply what they learn with confidence.
A typical lesson starts with a short review of previous topics, followed by the introduction of a new concept. We then work through examples together, complete practice activities, and end the session with a summary, feedback, and optional assignments to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my patient, approachable, and encouraging teaching style. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to match individual learning preferences. Rather than simply teaching rules, I focus on helping students understand how to use English naturally and effectively in academic, professional, and everyday situations.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, high school, senior high school, college, and adult learners.
