About Jedri

Hello, My name is Jedri de Luna. In my journey working towards my Master's degree in Physics and Astronomy, I have had many opportunities to hone my teaching skills. This includes casual tutoring opportunities, and more structured teaching positions. Through this, I have gained a true passion for teaching, and would love to help share the skill and knowledge I have gained! I always try to keep sessions light and comforting, since I find it as the best environment for students to be willing to learn. I am looking forward to meeting any prospective students!

About the lesson

I am an experienced tutor specializing in physics, math, and science, dedicated to helping students understand and excel in these subjects. I have experience teaching students from high school to University Teaching Methodology and Techniques: My teaching philosophy emphasizes building a strong conceptual understanding and intuition for the material. Once students grasp the concepts, applying them to various scenarios becomes easier. For those who prefer a more process-based approach, I provide structured, step-by-step guidance that still aims to achieve intuitive comprehension. Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with a review of previous topics and a discussion of the work done throughout the week. This is followed by an introduction to new content in a lecture-style format. Finally, we go through practice problems and address any confusions to ensure a thorough understanding of the material. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor: What sets me apart is my ability to simplify complex concepts and my personalized approach to each student’s needs. I tailor my lessons to address individual learning styles and difficulties, ensuring that every student can grasp the material effectively. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for high school and college students seeking to improve their understanding of physics, math, and science. Whether preparing for exams or needing extra support in class, I provide the necessary guidance and resources to help students succeed. Conclusion: In summary, my approach as a tutor is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can thrive. I am committed to helping each student achieve their academic goals and develop a deeper appreciation for physics, math, and science.
