I look forward to working with students in discovering a different perspective on learning. I try and teach my students to find joy in learning and understanding new concepts on their own, contrary to mugging up for just their exams and scores.

My students are known to be foundationally strong enough in their concepts, such that they don't face any difficulties in digging deeper into the subjects.

I prefer tutoring Math, Physics, and Chemistry from the ground up, teaching concepts using various analogies and linking them with real-world scenarios, helping the students visualize the concepts a lot better!

I'd love to help out any interested student, of any grade, in building up concepts from the ground level itself.

  • 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I developed an interest in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry during high school, when more advanced and interesting topics were introduced to me. I always felt biased towards these subjects because they had a good balance of memorization and interpretation, unlike others that would heavily rely on just a person's memory.
  • 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

I have always appreciated how concrete, singular, and universally constant Mathematics is when compared to any other subject. In other words, if all the knowledge in the world were to be "deleted', then in my opinion, Math would be the only one that would get reproduced exactly how it was to begin with.
  • 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

The most fun part of tutoring for me is when I can show a student the different perspectives on a subject until they start "seeing through things" and develop a deeper, more critical understanding. I always give my well-performing students a hint about what lies beyond their scope to show them the bigger picture, in hopes of inspiring them to go the extra mile and attempt to deviate from the herd mentality and think outside the box for once. My students have often described their experience in Math/Physics tutoring as "finally being able to see through the black box". This is what elevates me from being simply a teacher to being a SuperProf.
  • 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

I was fortunate to have amazing Math, Physics, and Chemistry teachers in my high school years. They are the ones who imbued the mentality about their respective subjects into me, by helping me connect the textbook to the real world and understand the true applications of concepts, and how things in the real world aren't always the "ideal", and how that makes the real-world engineering a real challenge
  • 5) What are your keys to success?

My key to success is aiming higher than is realistically achievable for me, which ensures that even a sub-par achievement is, in fact, a realistically admirable one. However, the internal dissatisfaction of not hitting the bullseye keeps me in a constant loop of improvement, which ensures my success.
