About Sarthak

I’m Sarthak Ghosh, a professional musician and educator with over 20 years of experience in Hindustani Vocals and Piano. Music has always been my true passion, and I’ve spent my career sharing that passion with students of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in Hindustani Classical Vocals, Semi-Classical, Light Music, and Piano, combining traditional Indian training with modern techniques. My teaching approach is personalized — focusing on strong fundamentals, confidence, and musical expression. Over the years, I’ve guided many students through Trinity and ABRSM piano exams, live performances, and professional-level training. My goal is to help every student connect deeply with music and develop both technical mastery and emotional expression.

About the lesson

Learn Hindustani Vocals and Piano under the guidance of a mentor with over 20 years of professional experience in performance and teaching. Each class is thoughtfully designed to suit your level — from complete beginners to advanced learners aiming for stage performances or certifications.

For Hindustani Vocals, the focus is on building a strong foundation in voice culture, swaras, alankars, raagas, taals, and expression, while also exploring the beauty of classical, semi-classical, and light music.

For Piano, lessons follow a structured international approach, covering music reading, ear training, technique, and improvisation, along with Trinity/ABRSM exam preparation if desired.

Every session blends traditional techniques with modern teaching methods, helping students not only learn but truly connect with music.

Perfect! I was contacted by the team from Chordscraft Institute of Music and matched with a fantastic instructor based on my specific goal of learning Western choir techniques and Hindustani classical vocals together.

I have made good progress, and the experience has been a great fit for me. The teacher is hardworking, punctual, and maintains a professional work ethic. I have learned well in a short period, and it has made a positive impact on my singing.

I actually signed up for lessons, and I am really glad I did. When the coordinator was first persistent in following up, I was skeptical of responding, especially regarding making payments. However, they put me at ease by working with me and allowing me to pay for only the classes that I completed vs. bulk payment and scheduling only what I was comfortable with.

Having worked with them for a few months now, I’ve found the team to be young, energetic, and truly dedicated to their passion, with a willingness to work across time zones. I wish Chordscraft Institute of Music continued success!
