About Mara
My teaching methodology for guitar is based on flexibility, motivation, and cultural sensitivity. I believe that every student is unique, so I adapt my lessons to fit individual learning styles and goals. I focus on building strong foundational skills like technique and theory, while also encouraging creativity through improvisation and composition. Motivation is key in my approach, so I ensure each lesson is engaging and tailored to inspire progress.
I also bring cultural sensitivity into my teaching, incorporating a variety of music genres and traditions to broaden my students' understanding of the guitar. Besides guitar, I can also teach music theory, composition, and ear training, offering a well-rounded learning experience.

With 6 years of experience in both teaching and performing, I am passionate about sharing the art of guitar with students from school to college levels. My journey as a guitar teacher has been shaped by a deep love for music and a commitment to helping others discover their musical potential. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of styles and techniques, focusing on building strong foundations while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
A key milestone in my career has been witnessing the growth and confidence of my students, many of whom have gone on to perform, compose, and excel in their musical journeys. My lessons are tailored to each student's unique needs, whether it's mastering chords, improvisation, or refining advanced techniques. With a passion for education, I aim to inspire and guide students to achieve their musical dreams, one note at a time.
