About Ivy

My teaching approach for Guitar is built on positivity, understanding, and accountability. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to learn and grow at their own pace. I focus on developing strong technical skills, while also fostering creativity through improvisation and real-world song practice. In addition to Guitar, I offer lessons in relevant subjects like music theory and ear training, ensuring a well-rounded musical education. I adapt to each student's unique learning style and goals.

About the lesson

With over 2 years of experience teaching college students, I specialize in helping students master the guitar. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, focusing on building strong foundational skills while encouraging creativity. I believe in a hands-on approach, where students learn by playing real songs and improvising from day one. My lessons incorporate innovative methods like using technology for practice tracks, ear training exercises, and personalized feedback. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I tailor my lessons to meet your goals and pace. Let's make learning guitar enjoyable and effective together!
