My teaching approach is focused on building a strong connection between what you hear and what your hands play. I emphasize ear-hand coordination so you can confidently learn songs and create music by ear. We explore alternate tunings to open new creative possibilities and enrich your sound. Songwriting is an important part of my lessons. I help you develop your own style and express your ideas clearly through music. I also teach how to use digital effects and pedals, so you can shape your tone and bring your music to life. Whether you want to master precise fingerstyle techniques or lead powerful worship sessions, I tailor lessons to support your goals. I focus on strong technique and musicality, helping you play with confidence and emotion. My method is patient and step-by-step, making complex ideas easy to understand. I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 9 years of experience, specializing in teaching visually impaired and differently-abled students. My approach centers on accessibility and personalized learning, ensuring every student feels confident and empowered. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on guitar, which has provided me with a solid foundation in both performance and pedagogy.
I utilize tactile notation methods that allow students to physically engage with musical scores. Audio cue training is another key part of my teaching, helping students develop acute listening skills and independence. Strong rhythmic development is a cornerstone of my lessons, as rhythm builds the backbone of musical expression.
