About Jocelyn
My teaching methodology for Guitar is built on Compassion, Flexibility, Communication, Accountability, and Positivity. I create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and express themselves. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs and goals, whether they are beginners learning chords or advanced players mastering improvisation.
With clear and open communication, I explain concepts in a simple and relatable way, ensuring students feel confident to ask questions. I hold students accountable by setting achievable goals and celebrating their progress, fostering a sense of accomplishment. My positive and patient approach inspires students to enjoy their learning journey.
Besides Guitar, I also teach related subjects like music theory, ear training, and composition, helping students develop a deeper understanding of music. Together, we’ll explore creativity, build skills, and make learning fun!

I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 2 years of experience teaching students from school to college. My journey in music has been fueled by a deep love for education and a desire to help others find joy in learning the guitar. Over the years, I have guided students in mastering essential techniques, improving their musicality, and building confidence in their skills.
One of my proudest milestones is helping a beginner student perform confidently in a school concert, showcasing their progress and hard work. I believe in creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students can explore their creativity and develop their unique style.
