About Blair
My teaching methodology for guitar is built around compassion, real-life examples, creativity, flexibility, and accountability. I believe in creating a supportive and understanding environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes as part of the learning process. This helps foster confidence and a love for playing.
I incorporate real-life examples and case studies, using familiar songs and musical styles to help students connect theory with practical skills. By doing so, I make learning relevant and enjoyable, enabling students to understand how they can apply their skills to different music genres and situations.
Creativity is key in my lessons; I encourage students to explore their own musical ideas, whether through improvisation, composition, or experimenting with different techniques. I also remain flexible in my approach, adjusting lessons to fit each student's pace and learning style.
I emphasize accountability by setting clear goals and tracking progress. This ensures students stay motivated and focused while developing both technical skills and musical expression. In addition to guitar, I also offer lessons in relevant subjects like music theory and ear training to help students become well-rounded musicians.

I'm a passionate guitar tutor with 3 years of experience, dedicated to helping students of all levels, from school to college, unlock their musical potential. My love for teaching and music drives me to create a positive and motivating environment where each student feels encouraged and supported. I specialize in teaching various aspects of guitar, including songs, improvisation, theory, technique, composition, beat-making, and ear training.
Over the years, I've worked with a diverse group of students, tailoring lessons to suit their individual needs and goals. Whether it’s helping beginners develop their basic skills or guiding advanced students to refine their techniques, I ensure that every lesson is engaging, educational, and fun. My approach is centered around understanding each student's unique learning style, allowing me to provide personalized support that fosters growth.
One of my proudest milestones has been seeing my students perform confidently and creatively, whether it's playing their favorite songs or composing their own music. I am committed to inspiring a love for music and helping my students become the best musicians they can be.
