About Lucy
My teaching methodology for guitar revolves around creativity, motivation, and integrity. I believe every student learns best when lessons are engaging, personalized, and inspiring, so I structure sessions to balance technical skill-building with creative exploration. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, ensuring steady progress while keeping the learning process enjoyable and meaningful. I incorporate real-life examples and case studies from iconic guitarists and diverse musical genres to make lessons practical and relatable. By connecting theory with real-world application, students gain a deeper understanding of technique, rhythm, improvisation, and expression, while also learning how professional musicians approach the instrument. Beyond guitar, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, songwriting, composition, and ear training. This holistic approach develops well-rounded musicianship, enabling students to perform, create, and understand music with confidence and independence, while fostering a lifelong passion for learning and artistic growth.

I am an experienced and passionate Guitar tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience, having successfully guided around 300 students of all levels. My lessons are designed to be engaging, personalized, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether learning foundational chords, advanced solos, or mastering their favorite songs.
My teaching approach combines creativity, motivation, and structured learning. I use real-life examples, musical case studies, and references from diverse genres to connect technique with expression, helping students understand both the technical and artistic aspects of guitar playing.
In addition to performance skills, I focus on developing complete musicianship through theory, improvisation, composition, and ear training. My aim is to inspire confidence, nurture creativity, and help every student enjoy a lifelong journey of musical growth and self-expression.
