About Hayes
My lessons show how math connects directly to the digital world around us. I use a relaxed and application-focused approach to make learning simple and practical. You will explore coding logic, algorithmic thinking, and key ideas from discrete mathematics used in computer science. I am a Maths tutor with over 8 years of experience and an MSc in Financial Mathematics. I am passionate about helping students see beyond numbers. I guide learners to understand maths through storytelling, where data becomes meaningful and easy to follow. Some ideas need detailed thinking, while others become clear with simple explanations.
I specialize in turning complex numerical data into clear and engaging visuals. I teach students how to create intuitive charts, graphs, and infographics that communicate insights effectively. These visuals help break down difficult concepts into something easy to understand. A strong visual can often explain more than words alone.
I have worked with students in data journalism, marketing, and research roles. Many of them have learned how to analyze data, identify patterns, and present their findings with confidence.
