About Sofia
Good guitar playing begins with a clear learning structure that respects every student's unique pace and goals. Even the simplest songs require the right approach to build strong fundamentals. I believe in developing solid technique before moving on to advanced solos and complex guitar styles.
With 10 years of teaching experience and a strong musical background, I quickly identify areas where students need support. I create simplified arrangements of your favourite songs to keep lessons engaging while improving rhythm, chord transitions, strumming patterns, and overall guitar technique. Both children and adults appreciate my balance of encouragement, creativity, and technical precision.
Together, we will develop your guitar skills through consistent practice, achievable milestones, and personalised guidance. Whether your goal is to play for fun, perform confidently, or prepare for grade exams, I am committed to helping you reach your full potential.

Degrees often look impressive on paper, but they mean little without genuine care for the student. I hold a **Master of Music in Guitar Performance** from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I started my teaching career 10 years ago, and since then, I have guided 186 students through a wide range of musical challenges.
My expertise includes reading sheet music, guitar tablature, electric guitar techniques, strumming patterns, lead guitar, rhythm playing, and fretboard navigation. I work with learners of all ages, helping beginners build strong foundations while supporting intermediate students with grade exam preparation, technique refinement, and confident performances.
I break down complex musical concepts into simple, practical steps that students can apply immediately. Every lesson is tailored to individual goals, creating a supportive learning environment where consistent practice leads to steady progress and lasting confidence on the guitar.
