About Daphne
My teaching methodology is centered around empathy and compassion, ensuring every student feels comfortable, valued, and encouraged throughout their musical journey. I understand that each learner has a different pace, background, and goal, so I take time to listen and adjust my lessons accordingly. Whether a student is just starting or already experienced, I create a warm and supportive environment where curiosity and creativity can grow. My main goal is to help students enjoy the process of learning piano while developing discipline, focus, and self-expression.
I believe that communication is key to building a strong connection between tutor and student. I explain concepts clearly, using simple examples and real-life applications to make learning easier and more relatable. During lessons, I combine theory and practice so students not only learn how to play but also understand the “why” behind the music. This helps them think critically and build confidence in both performance and composition. I also encourage open dialogue, where students can ask questions freely and share their musical ideas.
Flexibility is at the heart of my teaching style. I adapt my methods depending on each student’s needs—whether they want to focus on classical pieces, pop music, or music theory. Apart from piano, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and composition to give students a well-rounded understanding of music.

I am a passionate and dedicated piano tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and working professionals. My lessons are carefully designed to match each learner’s goals, skill level, and musical interests. I teach a wide range of topics including piano performance, music theory, and composition. Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps or an experienced player looking to refine your artistry, I aim to make each session enjoyable, motivating, and deeply rewarding.
My teaching philosophy is built on empathy, patience, and understanding. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit individual learning styles. I focus on developing not just technical skill but also emotional expression, confidence, and creativity.
My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music and help students reach their highest potential. Together, we will unlock your musical talents and make piano learning a fulfilling journey.
